Trust Capacity development

When young people get out of prison, they often lose confidence in their ability to engage with neighbors, friends, and those they used to associate with because they fear their judgments. Through our one-on-one sessions, whether by phone or in person, we incapacitate them to regain confidence in themselves.

Good Citizenry Development

History has shown that good citizens can come from anywhere, including prisons. Nelson Mandela spent 27 years in prison. These long years did not turn them into bad citizens. Instead, he became a hero for South Africa, Africa, and the world. He practiced the values of human dignity, respect, and good citizenry. He became a mentor, coach, productive force for good, and exemplary leader respected by all.

Creative writing

Effective creative writing is a powerful tool for helping young people drive impact in their community. By learning how to write books, they help inspire other young people to embrace new ways of life and change. Through CEM Press's Global Publishing Academy, we help formerly incarcerated individuals tell their stories to positively impact society.
